While only a block from their original address, Lisa Miller and Franco Tronchin’s longtime establishment will add another one-of-a-kind element to the exclusive Cherry Creek North development
The founders of Pasta, Pasta, Pasta, a longtime favorite restaurant in Denver’s Cherry Creek North neighborhood, have announced plans to move to the new mixed-use development NorthCreek also in Cherry Creek North. NorthCreek, a city-block development, bordering the west side of Fillmore Plaza between 1st and 2nd Avenues, includes luxury condominiums above a unique mix of retail shops.
The restaurant was established by Denver-native Lisa Miller in Cherry Creek North in 1984 at 278 Fillmore after she decided to pursue her love of Italian food while studying abroad in Italy.
“I studied art restoration in Italy, and always thought the food there matched or surpassed the great Italian art. Since food was always my inspiration, I left the artwork to others and pursued my dream of opening an Italian pasta shop,” shares Lisa, who opened Pasta, Pasta, Pasta in 1984. “Franco and I were married in 1988 and he introduced some great ideas for developing a take-out/prepared food side of the business. Ever since that time, our customers come here for lunch, or order catered meals from around the country.”
Pasta, Pasta, Pasta’s NorthCreek location will front Fillmore, just south of 2nd Avenue, and become another highly unique tenant to the retail and residential development. The new restaurant will have 2,000 square feet of space, not including a 300 square foot patio. The larger space will also enable Lisa and Franco to expand their display of exquisite Italian ceramic serving plates and artwork they have been selling for over twenty years.
“We love the NorthCreek location as it will provide us with more space, much better visibility and a great outdoor seating area directly on Fillmore,” notes Franco. “NorthCreek was the ideal solution to continue to provide the outstanding quality we’re known for in a space that will be more comfortable and convenient for all of our existing and new customers.”
The restaurant will also have a liquor license with plans to serve beer and fine Italian wines, with appetizers in the afternoons. NorthCreek residents will enjoy a private “residents only” entrance to the restaurant accessed from the project’s gated interior courtyard. One thing that will not change in the new location is the dedication to delivering the highest quality Italian food. The menu changes according to the season.
“Pasta, Pasta, Pasta is a longtime Denver favorite, and the restaurant is an exciting new addition to our retail mix,” said Roy Kline a partner of Western Development Group, the developers of NorthCreek. “People who both visit and live at NorthCreek can shop for international fashion at Hermes and Loro Piana, and step down the block for the very best recipes from a local favorite. The worldly and local mix of ‘flavors’ of NorthCreek is undeniable, and represents the international city Denver has become.”
Pasta, Pasta, Pasta will begin moving into their new space in late July, and will be open for business in early August.
